Since 1846, when the Georgetown Visitation Sisters arrived at our front gates on Second Street, thousands of girls have experienced the wonderful traditions and sisterhood the Visitation Academy community is well-known for. Today, those same traditions continue, with a commitment to our history and an eye on your daughter’s future. The young women who graduate from the Visitation Academy into our global world dream big; their enthusiasm and passion for learning inspire those around them.
From our very youngest girls in Pre-Kindergarten picking apples in our courtyard for Apple Dumpling Day, to our 8th graders sharing a blessing over their graduation rings, our girls spend a majority of their formative academic years here at the Academy.
