The Visitation Academy is a private Catholic school for girls from Pre-K3 to Grade 8. The school is located in historic downtown Frederick, Maryland, on a beautiful enclosed campus.

The Academy offers challenging curriculum on each grade level. The average class size is 15 students. Small class sizes allow skilled teachers to address the individual needs of their students.

Congratulations!  Visitation Academy won second place in the Maryland state finals of the National Engineers Week Future City Competition! The contest was held in Baltimore on Saturday, January 26. A group of 7th & 8th graders worked after school with Mrs. Holcomb to create a city that would exist 100 years from now. They developed a city concept, designed it with SimCity software, gave an oral presentation and  presented a scale model of their design. The model and the trophy  will be on display in the school library at Open House. This is the first year that the school has entered the competition. Visitation was the only Catholic school represented and also the only all-girl school team.
We are very proud of you all.
